faq
what is pregame?
A map of pres (pre-drinks) near you tonight. Find one, ask to join, and if the host swipes yes you get the address. Pres first, then the club together. Or post your own and pick who comes.
who can use it?
Anyone 18 or over. It's built for UK uni students, but you don't have to be one.
is it free?
Yes.
who can see where my pres is?
People browsing see a rough area, moved 300 to 500 metres from the real spot. Only people you accept see the exact address. More in our privacy policy.
who can see my birthday?
Nobody. People only see your age.
what's an open pres?
A pres where the host lets people straight in while there's space, with no swiping.
what are aura and vouches?
Aura ✨ is your rep. You earn it by going to pres and when people ✨ your posts and stories. Vouches 🤝 come from people you've actually been to a pres with.
how do i change my profile?
Go to your profile, tap ⋯ (settings), edit, then tap save.
i can't change my birthday
That's on purpose, so people can't fake their age. If you made a mistake, email us from the address on your account.
the map is empty
Check location is on for Pregame (Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services). If it's quiet near you, post your own pres.
report someone
- Open their profile, or the post.
- Tap the flag button at the top.
- Pick a reason (spam, nudity, harassment, underage, fake, other) and add any detail.
- Send. They won't be told who reported them.
We review reports and aim to act within 24 hours. If you're a host, you can always decline a request without giving a reason. If someone made you feel unsafe at a pres, email us too, with as much detail as you can.
delete your account
- Open your profile.
- Tap ⋯ (settings) at the top.
- Scroll down and tap delete account, then confirm.
It happens straight away and can't be undone. Your profile, birthday, pres, requests, posts, stories, follows and vouches are deleted. If you can't get into the app, email hello@clubmaxxing.app from the address on your account and we'll do it for you. If you signed in with Apple, you can also remove Pregame under Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple.
safety tips
- Check them out first. Look at their profile, vouches and socials. If something doesn't add up, don't go.
- Bring a mate where you can, and tell a friend where you're going and when you'll check in. Share your live location with someone you trust.
- Keep the address private. Don't share a pres address with people the host hasn't accepted.
- Watch your drink. Don't leave it unattended, and don't take drinks from people you don't trust.
- Know your limits. Eat first, drink water, and look out for each other. Help on drinking: drinkaware.co.uk.
- Plan your way home before you go out, and keep your phone charged.
- Leave if it feels wrong. You don't owe anyone an explanation.
- Hosts: only accept people you're comfortable having in your home, and keep valuables away.
- Emergency: call 999. Non-emergency police: 101.
